OUR STORY

Acadiana Growers Alliance started in 2015 with a simple idea:

the small family farms of Acadiana grow some of the best food anywhere, but too many neighbors can't easily get to it.

Too many families are stuck choosing between a dollar store, going without, or a drive across town they can't make. And too many farmers spend more time on the road than in the field.

So we brought them together. Today we're a farmer-led nonprofit and a cooperative of 30+ family farms, working across nine parishes to get fresh, local food where people already live, work and gather.

Where we're headed

We're working toward the day when no family in Acadiana has to travel to eat well, because the farm already came to them.
